P.H.U. Marco, which since 1989 has been engaged in selling footwear, wardrobe, suitcases and other assortment, for the last few years, with great success, has been also engaged in the different kind of activity - deep-sea fishing. It's my hobby, which has been fascinating and engrossing me for many years, and which I would like to share with others.

Deep-sea fishing is not only about catching fish and crabs. It's also the possibility of relaxation after work. It's breathing fresh air containing lots of healing salt, it's beautiful water, it's time stopped.

Severe and intact, beautiful nature still teaches us humility. I'm hopeful that this humility will retained by all the real TOURISTS and this respect for nature will allow the next generations to discover this enchanting part of the world.

Hitra is situated on the west coast of Norway, about 600 km north-west of Oslo and 120 km west of Trondheim. It's the seventh biggest Norvegian island (565 km2). Fisheries around the island are thought to be one of the best and richest in Norway.

Steinsjo Kvenaver on Hitra is our main accommodation base. The island is entered through the 6 km long sub-sea channel which runs 300 m below sea-level. In the summertime white nights constantly accompany us.

In Kvenvaer at your disposal are big aluminium boats with engine power of 100 PS, equipped with modern chart plotters and depth sounders.
The cabins are for 6-8 persons, 80-150 m2 approximately, very well equipped. In the nearest area of our accommodation base there is a restaurant, a gas station and a well-supplied shop, where you can buy everything, even souvenirs.
